What they do: Protect businesses against financial fraud through a no-code platform to model, detect, investigate and report on suspicious activity
What I like: Saved businesses $1B+ in fraud loss and money laundering so far; sticky software that easily pays for itself in a high-stakes problem space; strong roster of customers incl. Visa, Coinbase, Gusto, Twitter
Hoxton Farms | Sustainability | 💸 $22M Series A from Founders Fund | 20 employees
What they do: Grow real animal fat without the animals for delicious and sustainable ingredient
What I like: Plant-based meat is a multibillion-dollar industry and growing fast, but if you’ve tried the Impossible Burger or Beyond Meat, you know the taste is a looong way off; Hoxton is growing fat that mimics the taste of real meat; strong founding team from Oxford at the intersection of synthetic biology and math
Pogo | FinTech | 💸 $15M Seed from 20VC, Founders of Honey & Carta | 15 employees
What they do: Helping everyday consumers earn and save by unlocking power of their data
What I like: Very fast growth — used by hundreds of thousands of families to save millions of dollars so far; engagement on par with Instagram & Twitter; 4.9 stars across 33K reviews; more details in TechCrunch feature
