What they do: Help people ship meaningful products in a weekend
What I like: Their vision of building a Hogwarts for people that don’t want to just “get a job” is the right blend of bold and crazy; I tried their weekend course on building an AI writer w/ GPT-3 and was blown away; EdTech isn’t my favorite business, but there’s something irresistibly magical here
Giraffe360 | SaaS | 💸 $16M Series A from Founders Fund | 100 employees
What they do: Build robotic tech that offers 360° photography and virtual tour camera for real estate agents
What I like: I’m obsessed with businesses that target antiquated workflows and reinvent them with tech; floor plans and photography for real estate listings are right in this sweet spot; Giraffe360 is already used by 1000+ companies, shrinking an expensive workflow that takes days into minutes
Pogo | FinTech | 💸 $15M Seed from 20VC, Founders of Honey & Carta | 15 employees
What they do: Helping everyday consumers earn and save by unlocking power of their data
What I like: Very fast growth — used by hundreds of thousands of families to save millions of dollars so far; engagement on par with Instagram & Twitter; 4.9 stars across 35K reviews; AKA all the leading signs of something early and incredible; more details here
