What I like: They’re doing for identity what Stripe did for payments; FinTech, EdTech and many marketplace companies need to verify their customers, Persona is building the best-in-class way to do that; lots of upside from its $1.5B valuation
Temporal | Developer Tool | 💸 $100M Series B from Sequoia, $1.5B valuation | 60 employees 👤
What they do: Building simple, scalable open source way to write and run reliable cloud applications
What I like: Beloved by engineers at Coinbase, Netflix, Stripe, Snapchat, Doordash; if you’ve been inside a growing tech company, you’ve seen a lot of eng time spent on code reliability; Temporal is focused on blasting away this plumbing work so eng can focus on coding new features
Close | Sales | 💸 Seed from YC, now profitable | 60 employees 👤
What they do: Building CRM for remote salespeople
What I like: If Salesforce is Microsoft, Close is Apple — bold words from a happy customer; experienced founders with 15+ years of startup and SMB experience; 100% remote since 2016 so if you want to go remote, they are a well-oiled machine
